The spacious one and two-bedroom assisted living apartments, each with full kitchens, are maintenance-free and offer access to a diverse mix of amenities plus a suite of helpful services when and if our clients need them. 

Assisted living is about focusing on our customers' needs so that they can focus on enjoying their life. We offer a diverse mix of affordable personal services and healthcare options. Assisted living is ideal for those seniors who want to maintain their independence while benefiting from services when and if they need them.

There are 51 spacious one- and two-bedroom apartments in the assisted living neighborhood, each with a full kitchen and bathroom. Heated, garage parking is also available.

Memory Care

Our memory care services provide the right balance of independence and safety for individuals facing Alzheimer's disease or other types of dementia.

We feature two households of 10 studio apartments, each with a private bathroom and kitchenette and each home offers peace of mind.

Independent Living-Uptown Maple Commons

Uptown Maple Commons is a senior rental community, offering congregate living for persons 62 years or older. The community is financed under the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program, making it possible to provide housing at affordable rental rates. Residents enjoy a beautiful residential environment, a full social program, and a warm and caring atmosphere.

Uptown Maple Commons was designed as part of the Older Adult Housing and Service Continuum in conjunction with the Chisago County Community Center, a partner in providing services to older adults. The community is located in downtown North Branch near shopping, restaurants, parks, walking paths, clinics and churches

Care Center

"Institutional" is not in our vocabulary. We provide specialized care and rehabilitation services with compassionate, caring customer service.

Every neighborhood in the Care Center is comprised of 17 suites (each with a private bath); and each neighborhood has a separate entrance, a beautiful dining room, large country kitchen, a comfortable living room and two sunrooms.

Short-Term/Post-Surgical Rehabilition

Pre-planning your post-surgical care not only saves you time, it saves the worry of wondering what happens next. One visit to The Lake House at Ecumen North Branch - in fact, one call - will put your mind at ease when it comes to short-term care following your surgery. Our exceptional caregivers help you follow your doctor's plan of recovery, and that means more comfort and less stress. We approach the serious business of you getting better with creativity and fun, whether it's interaction with our friendly staff or ready access to recreational activities. At The Lake House you'll be ready for your rehabilitation, and we'll get you ready to go home.

Have a room ready and waiting. You can have your personal belongings in the room at your arrival - your clothes, a favorite quilt and other items from home all add to your comfort.

Follow your doctor's plan for recovery. Experience 24-hour, on-site certified caregivers who will follow your doctor's plan for recovery. Our nurses, physical therapists and registered dietician all specialize in post-surgical care.  And just like you, they want you to get home healthy.

Be confident insurance and Medicare issues are taken care of. Pre-planning means getting the paperwork out of the way, so all you have to do is get well.  Plus, it gives you an idea as to the cost and coverage of your follow-up care.

At Ecumen North Branch we are committed to using innovative technology to enhance the lives and independence of the people we serve.

A new technology we introduced in June of 2011 is Ecumen Connects, a private site for our residents' familes to connect with their loved ones and our community events. Learning basic computer skills are proven to help seniors sharpen their memory, build confidence, and promote overall cognitive fitness. That’s why we offer our FREE Ecumen Connects program where residents, families & friends, and staff can stay connected through the internet.
